Molestation Suspect Due in Court This Week

Amilio Feliciano, 23, faces one count of first-degree child molestation filed by Johnston Police, and two similar charges from Providence.

A Providence man suspected in two cases of child molestation, including one in Johnston, is scheduled for court hearings this week.

Amilio Feliciano, 23, has been held without bail at the ACI since April 2, when Providence Police charged him with two counts of first-degree child molestation.

Feliciano had also been the subject of a Rhode Island's Most Wanted website entry posted in December, 2012; Johnston Police arrested him on March 12 on a charge of first-degree child molestation after the mother of the girl told police Feliciano showed the child pornographic photos and touched her inappropriately.

According to online court records, a hearing on Feliciano's motion to dismiss the Johnston charge is scheduled for Oct. 7 in Third District Court; a similar motion on the Providence charges is scheduled for a hearing on Oct. 11 in Sixth District Court.
