Johnston Police Seek Help in Solving Car Break-Ins

Photos of a suspect were posted on the Rhode Island State Police Most Wanted website this week.

Surveillance video from a store in Pawtucket may hold the key to solving a rash of car break-ins in Johnston on Labor Day.

Rhode Island State Police released two still shots from a Shell Gas Station on Newport Avenue that show a possible suspect, a white man wearing a black cut-off tee-shirt and a cross on a chain.

According to the Rhode Island's Most Wanted website, the man used a credit card stolen from a car in Johnston on Sept. 2. 

Other items reported stolen include credit cards, an iPod, sunglasses, jewelry, and prescription medications.

The man is suspected of breaking a window on at least one car to get inside.
