Vieira reported that Colardo said he had been traveling south on Atwood Avenue when Regingas's car entered the lane of travel in front of him. Colardo's SUV then struck Regingas's car and came to rest on the divider island. Regingas's car stopped in the right-hand travel lane facing south on Atwood Avenue following the collision.
