Explorers Event Rescheduled To August 14
The planned car & bike show ran into rain and winds on the event's original date June 12.
The first annual Explorers Car and Bike show originally planned for June 12 has been rescheduled until August 14 due to rain.
Gina Sabatoni-Arakelian, whose son, George Arakelian III is one of the members of the Explorers group, forwarded the information by e-mail on June 12.
Reached by phone on June 13, Sabatoni-Arakelian said the organizers had originally planned the event for rain or shine in an attempt to hold it before the Explorers go to the Rhode Island State Police Academy on the weekend of June 26.

"Everything was in place, but unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate," Sabatoni-Arakelian said.
