Tryouts: Tonight begins tryouts for Johnston Little League at Ferri Middle School. Nine-year-olds get their chance tonight; 10s tomorrow night, 11s and 12s on Wednesday night, and all age groups on Thursday night. Crash: From our police log published on this date last year, Johnston Police had no problem tracking down a hit-and-run suspect after his car left a trail of debris and fluids form the accident scene to where his car finally stopped. Drunk? The responding officer thought so, but the suspect refused the breathalyzer test.
