Susan C. [Tirocchi] Olivo: Co-Owner of AA Wrecking Company

The Johnston resident passed away on Nov. 7, 2012.

 

Susan C. [Tirocchi] Olivo, 70, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of thirty years to Anthony D. Olivo.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Valentino A. and Evelyn (Pellegrino) Tirocchi. Susan was co-owner and secretary of AA Wrecking Company, of Johnston for over 30 years before her retirement.

Besides her husband, Susan is survived by her loving son, John A. Furtado, Jr. and his wife, Rosanna, of Cranston; and was the step-mother of Richard M. Olivo and his wife, Lisa, of Providence; Annmarie Nasissi and her husband, Frank, of Johnston; and Dawn M. Olivo of Providence. She was the cherished grandmother of John A. Furtado III of Johnston. Susan was the sister of Elinor Marra and Judith Riccardi, both of North Providence; and Valerie Mooney and Val Tirocchi, both of Johnston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 am in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence.

Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
