Phyllis [De Angelis] Russo: Owner Operator of Elm Jewelry Company

Phyllis [De Angelis] Russo, 92, of Johnston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation  Center, Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl C. Russo.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Clotilde (DiSimone) DeAngelis. Phyllis was a self-employed owner operator of the former Elm Jewelry Company of Johnston for 15 years.

She is survived by her loving sons, Robert C. Russo, of Johnston; and Carl Russo Jr. and his wife, Ceciley, of Cranston, and the late Anthony R. Russo. Phyllis was the mother-in-law of Maureen Russo of Florida, and the late Joan Russo. She was the cherished grandmother of nine, the great-grandmother of four, and the great great-grandmother of one. She was the sister of Josephine Kulus of Providence, Anna Dantone of Johnston, and the late Rose Scungio and Salvatore DeAngelis.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 10 am followed by a service at 11 am in the Greater RI Baptist Temple, 671 Greenville Avenue, Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
