Michael S. Cancelliri, 84, of Plainfield St., Johnston, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in Providence.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carlo J. and Theresa (Iovino) Cancelliri.
Michael was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW-II and the Korean Conflict.

He was the devoted father of Carolyn M. Cancelliri of Johnston and Scott M. Cancelliri and his wife Deborah of Providence; loving grandfather of Anthony Giarrusso, Jr., Scott A Cancelliri and Andrew J. Cancelliri; and dear brother of Marie Tannaccio, Isabel Michelli and Joseph Cancellieri, all of Johnston, Salvatore Cancellieri of North Providence and the late Anthony and Carlo Cancellieri and Rose DiPalma.
Committal Prayers followed by military honors will be held on Friday, May 10th at 11 a.m. in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter to which relatives and friends are invited.
