Obituary: Maria Gabriele, 78

Maria Gabriele, 78, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at home.

She was the beloved wife of Gennaro Gabriele. Born in Arpino, Frosinone, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Severino and Louisa (DeStefano) Gabriele. 

Maria was a seamstress with Lucilles Bridal where she designed bridal head pieces and veils. She loved travelling and cooking. Sewing was her passion.

Besides her husband of 58 years, she is survived by two daughters, Lea Colardo and Rosanna Hutnak; a brother, Leonello Gabriele; three grandchildren, Nicole DeVito, Paul Colardo and Stephen Colardo and a great granddaughter, Gabriel DeVito. She was the sister of the late Benvenuto Gabriele

Her funeral was held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston.
