June Frances O'Brien (Tucker), 82,of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, in Providence.

June Frances O'Brien (Tucker), 82,of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, in Providence.

She was the loving wife of John J. O’Brien. They were married for 61 years.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Warren F. and Mildred M. (Coleman) Tucker.

Mrs. O'Brien worked as a diamond cutter for the former Bulova Watch Company, in Providence for many years.

Besides her husband, she leaves her three children, John J. O’Brien, and his wife, Janice Morse, of Cranston, Sharon Bisceglio, and her husband, James Kerte, of North Providence, and Representative William W. O’Brien (District 54, N. Providence) of North Providence; a granddaughter, Gina Bisceglio; and two sisters, Shirley Tartaglia and Mildred Buckner. She was the sister of the late, Dorothy Musumeci, Irene Collins, Kay Gray, and Warren “Sonny” Tucker.

June’s funeral will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 9:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, in Saint Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Saint Robert Bellarmine Food Shelf, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919
