Obituary: Charles H. Morancey, Jr., 53

Charles H. Morancey, Jr., 53, of Barton Street, Providence, a truck driver before retiring over ten years ago, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of Maureen (Berry) Morancey.

Born in Cranston, he was a son of Laura (Rea) Morancey of Smithfield and the late Charles H. Morancey, Sr. He had lived in Providence his entire life.

He had worked as a truck driver for Macera, BFI and Waste Management. He was a classic car enthusiast. Some of his many hobbies include working on his cars and his home. He was a CB’er and LOVED animals.

Besides his wife and mother he is survived by his children: Nicole Morancey of Warwick and Charles H. Morancey. of Coventry, his stepchildren: Steven and Kristen Quinlan both of Providence, his six grandchildren: Justyn, Gianna, Alyssa, Brianna, Christopher and Esteban and brother of Steven Morancey, of Smithfield and Sandra Truppi of Johnston. He was the brother of the late Linda A. Morancey.

Committal Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday at Noon at Highland Park Cemetery, Johnston.

Visitation Tuesday 4-7pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, donation to the family will be accepted.
