Obituary: Ann L. Carocci, Avid Bowler, Communicant

Ann L. Carocci, 88, of Johnston, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 9, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Carocci. 

Born in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Marguerite (DeNotti) Assaiante. Ann worked as a sales person at Zayers Department Store for 10 years, retiring in 1985. 

She was a member of the Bowling League at Town Hall Lanes in Johnston and she loved knitting, crocheting, needle point and loved cooking & baking for her family and friends, and was also a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church. 

She was the devoted mother of Sandra and Alfred Carocci both of Johnston; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. She was the dear sister of the late Ralph and Anthony Assaiante, Joan Vecchione and Susan Orleck. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. 

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
