Maria G. Gelsomino (Buonanni), 82, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Guido Gelsomino and the daughter of the late Peter and Carmela (Infantile) Buonanni.
She leaves a son, James G. Gelsomino; a daughter, Kathy M. Myrberg and her husband, Stephen; a sister, Gloria Benton and her husband, Robert and several loved nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Michael Buonanni.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at 10 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, Providence.
Visitation Monday 4 to 7 pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence, RI 02909.
