Fiorindo "Fred" Palmieri

The North Providence resident passed away at Briarcliffe Manor on July 23, 2012.

 

Fiorindo “Fred” Palmieri, of North Providence, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at . He was the beloved husband of Marie “Beverly” (Leone) Palmieri.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Luigi and Rose (DiPetro) Palmieri.

Fred was a Boiler Operator at Butler Hospital in Providence. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Besides his wife of 60 years, he is survived by a son, Louis P. Palmieri of Arizona and his wife, Elizabeth, and was the father of the late Paul Palmieri. He also leaves his twin grandsons, Paul Edward Palmieri and Rocco Louis Palmieri, and was the brother of the late Ida Sorrentino and Madeline Capasso.

Visitation Thursday morning, July 26, 2012 from 8:15 to 9:15 am at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery Pawtrucket. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Briarcliffe Manor Activity Fund, 40 Old Pocasset Road, Johnston, RI 02919.
