Carmino G. Cellucci

The Pine Hill Road resident passed away on Nov. 29.

Carmino G. Cellucci, 92, of Pine Hill Road, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Mary (Tammaro) Celucci. They recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Daniel and Carmella (Notorantonio) Cellucci. He had lived in North Providence until moving to Johnston 50 years ago.

He had worked as an airplane mechanic at Quonset Point before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring classic cars.

Besides his wife he is survived by his sons, Carmino “Carl” Cellucci and his wife, Terry of Coventry, Ronald Cellucci and his wife, Betty of North Scituate, his two granddaughters: Tonya and Cindy, and his four great grandchildren: Michael, Kassandra, Savannah and Kaiya. He was the brother of the late Pearl Matteo, Chet Cellucci and Louise Estock.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Main Street, North Scituate. Burial with military honors in St. Ann’s Cemetery.
