Anne E. (DeAngelis) Zanni, 88, of Greenville Avenue, Johnston, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Zanni with whom she shared 69 years of marriage, passed peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Turchetta) DeAngelis. Anne is survived and loved by her children, Lorna and Leonard Solitro, Donna and Blaise Marfeo and Susan Bissanti and Anthony Sciarra; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Lillian Fusco, Joseph, John and Albert DeAngelis.

A fantastic cook and baker, Anne enjoyed fashion, shopping and Saturdays entertaining family and friends with her famous meatballs. A devoted wife and mother, Anne loved nothing more than spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at 10 am in , 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will be private.
