Americo D'Amico Jr.: Longtime Worker at Stop & Shop

The Johnston resident passed away on Dec. 3, 2012.

 

Americo D'Amico Jr., 86, of Johnston, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Angela (Petracca) D'Amico. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Americo and Maria (Macchio) D'Amico.

Americo retired as a meat cutter for Stop and Shop after 26 years.

Besides his wife of 58 years, he is survived by his loving children, Raymond D'Amico and his wife, Patricia; Jane Caserta and her husband, Robert; Bobby D'Amico and his wife, Mary; and Steven D'Amico and his wife, Shelly; a sister, Anna D'Amico, and 13 adoring grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston, followed by entombment in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
