Tonight: Spooky Walk Continues — Weather Permitting

Johnston Memorial Park hosts the second week of the annual Halloween event beginning tonight at 6 p.m.

Note: Spooky Walk for Oct. 29 was cancelled following the publication of this article.

As long as the weather cooperates, the final night of is scheduled to start tonight at 6 p.m. at Johnston Memorial Park.

A rain date is scheduled for Sunday night. Call (401) 272-3460, check the Johnston Parks and Recreation Department website in case of inclement weather, or visit the department's Facebook page for more information.

Director Dan Mazzulla said there will be staff in the Parks and Recreation Departmet office answering the phones to notify callers of possible cancellations.

When: 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Features: Lots of spooky displays and demonstrations; the 'Island of Jafar," featuring actors from Johnston Drama and Performing Arts; concession stand, games, and rides.

Cost: $6 per person; proceeds benefit Johnston Lightning Youth Soccer.
