EVENT OF THE DAY: Icky Fun

Marian J. Mohr Library kicks off its fall/winter Science Club with a study of slime.

Calling aspiring scientists — or those who like messy, icky stuff. Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library is hosting its first session of the fall/winter Science Club for kids in grades 2 to 5 with tonight's session on slime.

The fun kicks off at 6:30 p.m.

Kids can create their own slime and (here's the serious science, parents) learn about polymers — the molecules that are in everything from plastics to proteins.
