Create Our Facebook Cover Photo!

Have a great photo, painting or drawing that you think will be a perfect cover photo for our Facebook page?

Many are up in arms over the social media schism that is the Facebook Timeline.

Whether you like it or hate it, Facebook is changing over to this new layout — including JohnstonPatch's page — starting Mar. 30.

Instead of throwing a tantrum and starting a Facebook page to petition this, we've decided to use one of timeline's features to highlight Johnston's artistic talent.

How, you ask? From now until March 29, we'll be accepting your submissions for a cover photo for us to use on JohnstonPatch's Facebook page.

Whether it's a photo of at sunset, a painting of the ducks floating on Oak Reservoir (where is), or even folks chowing down at at lunch time — or or at night — we're looking for pieces of art that are uniquely Johnston.

There's no age requirement to submit: You just have to be a JohnstonPatch user [] create a 100-percent original piece of work owned by you for us to use.

Legaleze follows:

By submitting media to Patch, you agree to grant Patch the royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive right and license to use the work on JohnstonPatch’s Facebook page.
