Can You Help Luna Get Home?

Help a poor doggie find her way home!

Somewhere, someone is looking for a very nice dog, and the Davis Area Group Rides bike folks know where she is. Since the Patch helped my very naughty nephew cat find his way home, I'm hoping you all can help Luna do the same. Here's the scoop:

Found Dog / Name on tag is Luna. Phone 488-0425 on tag does not work. Found this evening in the field between UC Davis and Russell Blvd bike path in Davis CA, exhausted, confused, and dehydrated. She looks to be about 13 yrs old...Does she look familiar to you ? I rescued her and have her at my home in Davis, please call 916.847.4818 if you know where she belongs. - Thank you !

Has Luna been checked for a microchip? Any of the local vets can do it, or they probably have both types of scanner at the SPCA Thrift Store.

Did you try other local area codes for the phone number (530, 916, 707, 925, 209, 510, 415)? It might be a cell number, or they might have been just visiting Davis when they lost her. Good luck!!

Good news from Julie, who posted this blog: "Luna has been reunited with her family."
