The Autism Project Fundraiser

Elegant Reflections Salon, Cranston, RI,  will be hosting a Pampered Chef & Silpada handmade jewelry fundraiser for The Autism Project, headquartered in Johnston, RI.  The Salon will have vendor pre-order forms available during operating hours.  A percentage of sales will be donated to The Autism Project.

The Autism Project's mission is to develop a comprehensive system of care and resources that meets the needs of children and adults with autism and their families including education, health, vocational, career, and social and community needs. This unique collaboration of parents and professionals works to support individuals with autism in many areas including educating parents and caregivers on best practices for supporting individuals with autism; educating and training teachers, speech professionals, occupational therapists, teacher assistants, day-care providers, community members and other professionals on the current best practices; and, offering direct services to individuals with autism.

The Autism Project also works to advocate for individuals with autism and their families to increase availability of programs to support them. The organization also offers support services for families from early diagnosis through transition to the workforce through its Parent Support Liaison, support groups, Parent Trainings and Parent Resource Center.
