Join us for a guided walk of Neutaconkanut hill park in Providence.
Thursday August 15th at 5:30 PM. (Apologies that Tuesday was rained out). Neutaconkanut Hill is not only the highest hill in Providence, it is home to the last wild forest in the city, an oasis for
animals and visitors alike. Take advantage of the long summer day to learn more
about the trees found up on the hill. Amazing tall oaks and recently planted
pines will be a part of this guided evening walk. Learn about protection efforts to
save this forest. Water and cookies will be provided.
The hike is approximately
1.5 miles long and starts from 120 Killingly Street.
