Nutcracker Storytime Ages 3-7

Heritage Ballet of Lincoln, RI will demonstrate the art of
Classical Ballet to children ages 3 – 7 through performing an excerpt from The
Nutcracker.  The children will also be
given an opportunity to see and learn about the exercises the dancers do to
warm-up, the costumes and pointe shoes used in performances, along with some
audience participation from the children

Heritage Ballet is located
near Lincoln Mall and offers ballet and dance classes for students ages 2 1/2 -
Adult, Jazz for ages 4 & up and Beginner Tap for ages 4 - 8.  Heritage Ballet will be performing The
Nutcracker on Dec.21 and 22, 2013, full-length Sleeping Beauty on March 16
& 17, 2014 and a Culmination Performance on June 7, 2014, at the beautiful
Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket, RI.  All students in Creative Movement
& up from the school are eligible to perform in the June performance and
students ages 7 & up perform in the Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty.
