Guided Meditation with Heidi Gabrilowitz
Meditation is an ancient art of holding a relaxed focus on one particular area of attention. This helps clear the mind and empowers one to experience a sense of peace, groundedness and well being.
Heidi will facilitate different meditative experiences to allow the exploration of different styles of meditation. A breathing exercise will lead into a guided meditation. The addition of a gentle drum beat will encourage a deepening into the alpha state, which will be complemented by a simple breath meditation. You will be seated comfortably, either on the floor with cushions and bolsters, or in a chair. You will be guided verbally through a healing visualization process. Please bring a journal or notebook and pen to record your experiences. No prior experience necessary. All are welcome.
