Operation Stand Down is Rhode Island’s primary non-profit organization focused on providing housing and supportive services to homeless and at-risk veterans. The food bank at OSD is close to depleted and I am asking for every Rhode Islander to take 5 minutes out of their lives to come and drop off a canned good or other dry good to this event to help this crucial organization which Benefits our Veterans. These men and women were ready to give their lives to us to protect our freedom I am sure we can each give a few minutes to pay them back. The food Drive will take place at the Johnston War Memorial Park.
