Video: Mohr Library Summer Reading Wrap-Up

The local library celebrated the end of the summer reading program by handing out certificates to the more than 80 children who participated this year.

More than 100 children and parents attended the August 17 celebration at to mark the end of this year's "One World, Many Stories" summer reading program.

The accompanying video shows scenes from the event, which included awards for all children who participated, raffles of gift baskets, and an ice cream party.

Children's Librarian Meri Carney explains that the kids reported reading more than 1,500 books over the summer.
