Smithfield Patch will join our Rhode Island Patch sites this month.
Since launching JohnstonPatch in December, 2010, we frequently have received inquires about when SmithfieldPatch will launch. It only makes sense — Smithfield is near places with Patch sites, such as Johnston and Woonsocket.
You wanted a SmithfieldPatch — and we are here to deliver. SmithfieldPatch will launch Sept. 27 under the direction of Local Editor .
