Lane Closure Announced For I-295
The left lane of the interstate from Exit 4 (Plainfield Pike) to Exit 3 (Route 37) is scheduled for closure today beginning at 4:30 p.m.
The Rhode Island Department of Transportation announced today that the left lane of Interstate 295 will be closed from Plainfield Pike in Johnston to Route 37 in Cranston, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
DOT Spokesman Charles St. Martin said in a statement that the lane closure is for scheduled bridge work.
