Back-to-Back Boys' Hockey: The Johnston-North Providence co-op Cougars play two games in two nights — Friday night at 7:30 at Dennis Lynch Arena in Pawtucket against Tolman, and Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. hosting the West Warwick/Exeter-West Greenwich co-op squad at Smithfield Ice Rink. This is the final week of the regular season for the Division-III leading Cougars (13-1-0 in D-III, 14-1-1 overall), so grab a hot chocolate and settle in for some great action on the ice.

At Mohr Library: Drop-in Crafts continue Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Parents and kids ages 3 and up are welcome to stop by and complete a self-directed art project.

John Gordon Play: The Park Theater in Cranston hosts another weekend of "The Murder Trial of John Gordon," a gripping look at the infamous 1843 murder case against an Irish immigrant, the last person to be executed in Rhode Island. Student and seniors' tickets $25.
