EVENT OF THE DAY: Rewards of Reading
The Mohr Library will host an end-of-summer bash for summer reading program participants.
Several Johnston teens have been dedicated to keeping their minds stimulated through the long dog days of summer, and ow they're being rewarded for their efforts.
The Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library, 1 Memorial Ave., is hosting an end-of-summer bash to mark the conclusion of this year's summer reading club. The party will include food, fun and music — once again from Mohr’s resident D.J. Miikey B.
Thos who qualify will have a stake in the raffle to determine the summer's grand prize winner. Don’t miss the party! It kicks off at 6 p.m. Everyone who attends will receive a free book!
