Up until last November, this was the home of the town's municipal court — what do you think should move into the vacant spot?

From Atwood and Hartford Avenues to Killingly Street and Plainfield Pike, Johnston has its fair share of vacant buildings. Some have been empty for years while others see a rotating crop of businesses.

History: Since 1993, this 2,500-sq. ft. retail space had been the home of the town's municipal court, at a lease cost of about $3,500 per month. With the court's last November, the storefront became available.

Ownership: The Town of Johnston online Assessor's Database lists the current owner as Aegean Sun LLC, which purchased the property in 2007.
