[VIDEO] 'Taste of North Central RI'

The North Central Chamber of Commerce organized a six-stop tour of restaurants in the area on July 24.

On Tuesday night, nearly 60 participants traveled to a half-dozen restaurants and eateries in the area covered by the North Central Chamber of Commerce as part of the group's first "Taste of North Central Rhode Island."

The accompanying video (run time: 2:00) includes scenes from every stop along the route, including Rhode Island Billiards in Centredale; in Johnston; Bentley's in Scituate; Liberina's and Decadent Designs in Greenville; and UNO Chicago Grill in Smithfield.

Chamber President Deb Ramos termed the night "a phenomenal success — on a scale from 1 to 10, the night was a 12 or 13."

Ramos credited Ambassador Committee Chairwoman Jamielynn Salisbury, and members Richard Iannitelli, Nancy Carrott, and Nancy Rosedale for coordinating the shuttle buses from , , and North Bay Manor.

"The people who attended were thrilled with the evening, with all the food, and with the excitement of going to all the different restaurants," Ramos explained. "I was overwhelmed with such a wonderful night."

As a small business owner, I couldn't agree more. I have seen such a tremendous return for my membership and have met a wonderful group of people and fellow business owners.
