Video: Fire At Metro Collision Center

JohnstonPatch was on the scene of a fire at the car dealership on Putnam Pike, which occurred at 11 a.m. Feb. 7.

The accompanying video shows the scene at 181 Putnam Pike just after 11 a.m. on Feb. 7 following a blaze that broke out in the Metro Collision Center's paint booth. No injuries were reported.

and fire personnel and Smithfield Rescue #1 responded to the fire. Employees gathered in front of the dealership, and at one point, owner Michael Grieco Sr. evicted a television cameraman who arrived and attempted to film the event.

Two Johnston firefighters were examined by Smithfield responders and remained at the scene.
