Resident Earns Promotion at RI Hospitality

Lauren Spicer, of Johnston, formerly served as the organization's communications intern.

From the Rhode Island Hospitality Association:

The Rhode Island Hospitality Association announced on July 11 that Lauren Spicer of Johnston has been named the group's Communications and Marketing Coordinator.

Spicer, who formerly served as RIHA Communications Intern, previously organized the group's two newsletters, Hospitality at a Glance and Hill and Dale, and updated the RIHA website and social media accounts.

In her new position, Spicer's responsibilities will include creation of a marketing strategy to promote the association; building RIHA's social media presence; managing the group's website; and communicating with members and educational partners.

President and CEO Dale Venturini said: "“Lauren has been a tremendous asset to us and I could not be more pleased with her growth inside our organization. “Her work
ethic, matched with her wonderful personality, will greatly increase our exposure in the community and will benefit our members throughout the hospitality industry.”
