Gear Up For The Super Bowl [Poll]

The Patriots and Giants meet Sunday night in Super Bowl XLVI — here's where to get ready for the big game.

This is it — the big game, the finale, the Super Bowl — and the New England Patriots are set to face the New York Giants on Sunday night at 6 p.m.

on Hartford Avenue is your answer — they've got long-sleeve tees and hoodies (just like Bill Belichick wears!) with the officially-licensed Patriots logo.

A check of the store on Friday found piles of hoodies (a deal at $20 each) and racks of tees ($10), ready for local fans to scoop up — especially since they're probably spending a lot on food and other refreshments for house parties.

About The Game:

Who: The New England Patriots (13-3, 2-0 playoffs) meet the New York Giants (9-7, 3-0 playoffs) in Indianapolis, IN.

What: Super Bowl XLVI, the final game of the 2011-12 NFL season.

Where: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis. Televised on NBC (Channel 10).

When: Sunday, Feb. 5. Pre-game begins at 1, with kickoff set for 6:20 p.m.

History: The Patriots held off Baltimore, 23-20, in the AFC finals on Jan. 22, thanks to a shanked field goal by Raven kicker Billy Cundiff. New York needed an overtime field goal to beat San Francisco in the Jan. 22 NFC championship game.

Sunday's game is also a rematch of the 2008 Super Bowl, when the Giants beat the Patriots with a last-minute touchdown drive and spoiled New England's attempt to be the first team in NFL history to go 19-0.

The Giants beat the Patriots, 24-20, in their regular season meeting on Nov. 6.
