Find the Best Gas Prices in Johnston

Find the best deals on fuel throughout the town on the Johnston Patch Commute Page.


After steady increases the last several weeks, gas prices took a dip this week.

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are down three cents this week, according to AAA Southern New England. AAA’s tsurvey of prices in Rhode Island today found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.799 per gallon, three cents less than last week.

Prices in the state are 13 cents higher than a month ago and five cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $3.74. Still, prices are slightly better than this time last year when Rhode Island’s average price was $3.80.

Most Cranston stations are right on the state average, though local drivers drivers can find a slightly better deal — $3.68 — at the Pick N Pay on George Waterman Road. For a look at gas prices throughout the city, check out the Johnston Patch commute page

The range in prices in the latest local AAA survey for unleaded regular is 24 cents, from a low of $3.679 to a high of $3.919. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up- every trip-every time.
