The Rhode Island Bloodcenter is scheduled to bring the Bloodmobile to the shop at 159 Putnam Pike from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today.
Summer is a very difficult time for blood drives, RIBC Communications Director Frank Prosnitz explained in a recent press release.

“We must collect up to 280 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of those hospitalized within our community, regardless of weather or time of year,” he stated.
