5 Things To Know Today: July 26
Full slate at Mohr; business workshop; NP Rotary club meets; concert at The Bridge; and today in history: ADA becomes law.
Mohr For Everyone: Just can't get tired of using the library's name for puns. And just like every other time I write one, today's heading is quite appropriate — there are four events today:
- Story time for kids 4 and older at 10:30 p.m.
- Advanced computer class covering Microsoft Word at 1. Note: Registration required.
- Game On! in the Young Adult Room from 4 to 8 p.m.
- Dramatic reading by local actors of The Liar, written by Pierre Corneille, at 6 p.m.
Boost Your Biz: The North Central Chamber of Commerce, located right here in Johnston, hosts a Business Accelerator seminar hosted by local CPA David Lussier, starting at 6:30 p.m. at 575 Centerville Rd., Warwick. Follow this link to register.
Meet Local Rotarians: Make some local connections at the North Providence Rotary Club monthly meeting, scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m. at J & D Restaurant. A great way to network with other business people.

Helping The Disabled: On this date in 1990, President George H. W. Bush signed the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) onto law.
