Johnston advances to Junior LL World Series; exercise at the senior center; computer class at Mohr Library; two area farmer's markets; and today in history: Enterprise (not that one).

Big Win: The Johnston Junior Little League team won two games yesterday to win the Eastern Regional Championship in Freehold Township, NJ. After squeaking out a 14-13 win in the first game of a double-header against Pennridge, PA, the two-time RI state champs defeated Pennridge, 18-7, in the afternoon game. Wish our boys luck as they advance to the Junior Little League World Series that begins August 14 in Michigan!

Work Out: The senior center hosts two fitness programs today:

Computer Class: Marian J. Mohr Library offers Advanced Computer class today from 10 to 11 a.m.
