J-DAPA To Open Auditions For 'Aladdin Jr.'

The local dance and acting troupe is looking to cast about 20 performers.

From Johnston Drama And Performing Arts (J-DAPA) Community Theatre Director Donna Tellier:

Auditions for the J-DAPA production of Disney's Aladdin Jr. will be held at the auditorium on:

  • June 14 from 5 to 10 p.m.
  • June 16 from 5 to 10 p.m.

You may pick up an audition and information packet at the Johnston High School
Auditorium on  June 1 from 7 to 8 pm and June 7 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Callbacks will be June 17 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., if needed. You will be notified by phone or e-mail whether or not you receive a part.

Please prepare a song to sing and bring an accompaniment CD.
Please dress comfortably for movement and bring a list of conflicts between June 27 and November 12.

Casting Breakdown

The cast of Disney's Aladdin Jr. features six principal roles and many featured ensemble roles. The directing team would like to cast approximately 20 performers between the ages of 6 to 99 in this production.
