J-DAPA Performances: The Johnston Drama and Performing Arts troupe continues its presentation of "A Night of Sin: Frank Sinatra and Friends" Friday night at Johnston High School. Tickets are $10. Follow the link for ticket information.
High School Hockey: The Johnston-North Providence Cougars, a co-op team representing the two towns, is scheduled to play Tolman High School of Pawtucket on Saturday night at 9 p.m. at Smithfield Ice Rink.
Raymond Carver Series: Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library will host another installment of its author series focused on Raymond Carver, this one focuing on his short stories, on Friday afternoon from 3 to 4 p.m. in thr Reading Room.
