Learn About Plants at Audubon

The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is hosting a variety of special programs for children this week during February school vacation.

Today children can join the Audubon Society at Powder Mill Ledges Wildlife Refuge in Smithfield for Playing With Plants. Participants will learn all about how plants work and where we get our food by sampling some fruits, vegetables and nuts and by dissecting flowers.

Program fee: $8.00 per member child; $10.00 per non-member child.  Recommended for children ages 7 and older.
