New Fire Chief: Mayor Joseph M. Polisena is scheduled to announce his choice for fire chief this morning at 10 a.m.

Mohr Programs: Marian J. Mohr Library has two programs today:

  • Story hour for 3- to 5-year-olds at 10:30 a.m.
  • Reader's Lair for students in sixth through twelfth grades at 6:30 p.m.. Today's reading selection is Hunger by Michael Grant.

Kids' Art: Providence Children's Museum hosts another installment of Explorer's Studio starting at 10 a.m. Kids ages 3 to 6 can experiment with a variety of art materials.
