RIRRC to Hold Eco-Depot This Saturday

RI Residents are urged to make an appointment and dispose of any hazardous materials they may have at home.

The Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation (RIRRC) will host a special waste collection on site at the Central Landfill (65 Shun Pike) on Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m. until noon.

The free collection will allow Rhode Island residents to dispose of their household hazardous waste in a safe manner. Household hazardous waste is collected separately from the state’s Central Landfill in order to protect humans, animals and the local environment. These are products that have warning labels indicating they are dangerous to human health because they are flammable, caustic, combustible or toxic.
