EVENT OF THE DAY: Summer Reading At Mohr

Today is the big kick-off event for the "One World, Many Stories" reading program at the library.

School is winding down — and the summer reading program at Mohr Library is getting started.

This afternoon at 2:30 p.m., the library hosts a kick-off event to celebrate the start of the "One World, Many Stories" program, which is dedicated to Andrew Greene.

Mohr's in-house DJ Mikey B spins the hits, plus there will be games and food. Kids who register for the summer reading program will also be entered into a drawing for a new e-reader.

Children who complete at least five chapter books or 25 picture books or easy readers will receive a free book, an ice cream party invitation and a Certificate of Completion.
