Johnston Parks and Recreation Department, along with Save the Lakes Rhode Island, will hold a Youth Fishing Derby today, Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Johnston Memorial Park.
This event is free. Boys and girls ages 5-13 can participate. (Parents must accompany children under the age of 10.)
The schedule for the day is as follows:

Ages 8-10: 8:30am
Ages 5-7 : 10:30am
Ages 11-13: 12:30pm.
Awards will be presented for individual achievements.
