"It is more important than ever to arm every Rhode Islander with the skills to make sound financial decisions," Raimondo said. "From encouraging online financial literacy options for students, to growing our Financial Coaching Corps, we are working to provide financial peace of mind to Rhode Island's families and helping to move our whole state forward."

The Admirals Bank Financial Scholars Program partners withEverFi, an innovative web-based curriculum that uses the latest new-media technologies - video, animations, 3-D gaming, avatars, and social networking - to bring complex financial concepts to life for students. Every public high school in Providence can certify students in financial literacy thanks to Admiral Bank's sponsorship of this initiative.
