IT On Demand-free VMware Training Program

IT On Demand-Free Mid-Level training in VM ware (Tech Collective, New Horizons, Bryant U)
Do you have IT work experience or education?

Are you an eager learner?

Have a passion for technology?

Tech Collective's IT On Demand program may be for you! Designed and delivered with involvement from Rhode Island IT employers, the IT On Demand program provides unemployed and underemployed IT practitioners with technical, business, and experiential training.

This 14-week program aims to equip and prepare workers with new skills to re-enter the workforce.

Fall 2013 Session:

Sept.16, 2013 - Dec. 20, 2013
Technical: VMware Data Center Virtualization (opportunity to become VCP5-DCV certified) Training Provider: New Horizons

Business: Business Management Certificate (customer service, communication, project management) Training Provider: Bryant University

Experiential: 8-weeks with an IT employer
Participants will be hired by their host company pending successful completion of the program

Eligibility Requirements:

Age: 18 years of age or older

Residency: RI residents preferred

Work Status: US citizen or able to work in the US

Employment Status: unemployed / underemployed

BCI Check

Education/Experience (preferred): IT degree; equivalent IT training, education, or certifications; or minimum two years IT experience

(e.g. networking, server, help desk/desktop support, systems administration, customer service/soft skills
