AUDITIONS! RI Children's Chorus
Hi Sarah,
Glad to know that everything went well yesterday. It sounds like you did everything possible to ensure the best sound. Rather than have you convert everything to mp3 and email to me, why not just send any tracks that that you're unsure of and that may need to be re-recorded. This will save time for both of us (I would have to convert back to .wav if all files were sent via email).
If you wouldn't mind burning everything to discs by choir and voice part, I'll replace all of the CDs when I connect with you next Thursday (I'll need to bring you the remaining Training pieces and collect the Lyric & Upper Choir music at that time). Yesterday I dropped off music for a Tuesday recording session, plus music for you and Ashley. Was it there when you arrived?
Thanks for letting me know about my bio -- indeed, I hadn't updated my own; I usually don't do so every year, so I wouldn't have even realized it. Speaking of Carillon, would you send over the repertoire list for next semester when you have a chance. Just need to be sure that there aren't too many repeats from recent years and that there's a good selection of pieces that they and the audience will really enjoy. It's not something that I'll need to do forever.
Looking forward to the upcoming season!
Christine
